A new sub-frame, suspension, and rack & pinion, set up were installed. That gave the engine compartment considerable more room by eliminating the intrusive shock towers and lowering the center of gravity. The only way to shoe horn a 427 into this car. It also has tubular A-arms, export brace, and disc brakes for better stability. The engineering aspect of this set up is great. The car drives really well and as you can imagine, FAST! The body, paint, trim, chrome, and glass are very nice. It is not easy to find missing Sprint trim and this one not only has all of it but it is in great shape. The bucket seat interior is immaculate. It features a console, wood steering wheel, retro dash mounted tachometer, and full gauges in the chrome under dash housing. Even the foil applique on the door panels are in excellent condition. A rarity for the top of the line Sprint trim on these cars. You cannot see them in the photos but the front seats do have seat belts. The 427 is topped off with dual Holley 4 barrel carbs, aluminum intake, oval air cleaner, and chrome valve covers. Block huger style coated headers feed the big bore aluminum dual exhaust. A large aluminum radiator and electric fan were added to keep the big motor running cool.
