1939 Ford Deluxe - $39,500 - New Port Richey, FL - The flowing lines of the 1939 Ford Convertible Sedan is one of he prettiest Fords ever made. This is the last year Ford made the Convertible Sedan, only 3,561, with probably less than 100 left in the world. The Delux Convertible Sedan was the most expensive Ford made at the time. With only 5,800 miles since frame off restoration, and rebuilt front end this year, the car is a great driver and gets many 'thumbs up' when on the road. The body is all steel. The garnet maroon paint looks great, as does the retro 50's style upholstry, wood grain dash and mouldings and maroon carpet. The engine is the original 221 CID, 85 HP Flathead V8 with Stromberg carb. The sound from the dual exhaust is beautiful. Standard 3 speed transmission on the floor.
