This is a real GTX, with fender tag, certi-card, and is recorded in the Galen Govier Registry. Car was #42 of 50 built at the Los Angeles, CA factory on Feb 22, 1967. Was ordered as a column shift, bucket seat car, with the optional folding center "buddy seat." 3.23 ratio Sure Grip 8 3/4 rear end. Factory order hemi suspension package. White car from day one with optional T4 Sport Stripes in medium red metallic. Hood mounted turn signals, body sill mouldings, and wheelwell mouldings. Special one year only factory chrome valve covers. Correct high performance cast exhaust manifolds, with new exhaust front to rear. Rebuilt special order close ratio power steering. Recored original matching # radiator.
Red interior is in excellent shape. Excellent dash and dash pad. New headliner, carpet, and Legendary front bucket seat covers, the rest is original. Has optional factory AM/FM radio, speaker is missing. Rust free body has been repainted in the original color scheme. Retains original accident/rust free sheet metal (I know what to look for) as far as I can tell.
Complete brake service completed, new torque converter, fuel tank, fuel pump, and water pump. Tires are 15" BF Goodrich with well over 80% tread left. Stamped steel road wheels painted body color, with poverty hubcaps.
This car is very fast for a factory configuration car it goes down the road very well. Handing is excellent due to the hemi suspension option. Motor is tight, quiet, and runs like a swiss watch. This car is conservatively graded #2 condition. Offered for sale at fair market value.
