1920 Indian Scout - Auction - Newnan, GA - A rare, near mint original condition Scout museum piece from it's first year of production. Appears to be all original claret red paint and gold pin striping in fantastic condition. Engine is a 42º V-twin 61 cu.in. 15 h.p. engine with side valves. Corbin speedometer mounted atop gas tank is missing only it's glass lens. Three speed gearbox bolted to rear of engine, amber shift knob not original. Leaf spring front fork suspension. New Cycle Rite tires. One of Indian's most popular models for it's excellent handling, durability and 95 mph top speed. Produced from 1920 through 1931.
