1952 BSA - Auction - Newnan, GA - A very original example of a classic British milestone motorcycle. The M-20 saw service during the heyday of BSA's dominance in the market. It was also the first model to bear the iconic Gold Star name. Production began in 1937 for the single cylinder 500 c.c. sidevalve which produced 13 h.p. Roughly 126,000 were produced for the Allied forces during WWII, production continuing after the war for both the military and civilian use. Most military M-20s were for the British Army however some found their into the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.
