
Aged original appearance milestone Moto Guzzi. The Airone had the longest production run of any of the Italian manufacturer's models, from 1939 through 1957. Powered by an engine layout originally developed in the 1920's, the horizontal single cylinder 250 c.c. air cooled 4 stroke which remained with the company till the 1970's. It's distinguishing feature is the polished external flywheel commonly referred to as the bacon slicer. The condition on this bike is aged original paint with mild surface rust on the chrome features, logos present throughout. Pronounced Guzzi logo embossed on the signature fish tail exhaust pipe. One dent on the left side of oil tank. Original Dellorto carburetor. M80248 stamped on engine, 14930 stamped on frame under seat.
