1942 Harley-Davidson WL Civilian - Auction - Newnan, GA - A recent restoration of a great WWII era Twin Flathead 45 c.i. (750 c.c.). It has the 3 speed gated hand-shifter, solo saddle, springer fork front suspension and a Burgess fishtail exhaust. Beautiful red and black paint. Nice chrome and frame detailing. A very well cared for example of a civilian vehicle produced when so much was going into the war effort, only 142 produced that year making it quite a rarity. Engine stamping is 42WL69127.
