Sold in 1976 from WESTER Porsche - it spent his whole Life in southern California.
This car belongs in a Porsche Museum - Rick bought the car when he was a Porsche mechanic
at this Dealership in Southern California. He maintained and cared with Love for it in the 38 years - exactly the Porsche way. Prevention instead of waiting till something brakes down. The car was never painted. As you can see in the pictures inside the fenders and below the car - the car looks brand new ! Never outside - always garaged and well cared for. The mechanical injection system which was changed on so many 912 E - is still in the car and perfectly running. The update he made was the valve system to hydraulic so he had not to adjust the valves every 3.000 miles !!
This is not a car which was sitting in a garage for years - this car was carefully driven.
The car body has a total of 320.000 miles and the engine was completely redone at 228.000 miles - the car runs beautiful and smooth. Never saw a 912 E with such a nice running engine.
The interior is original - the backseats look like no one ever took place there. The seat covers were changed some years ago - with the original covers !

The tires, brakes , shock absorber ... are all up to date.
The transmission made a little noise - we took it out and had it completely rebuild at KCR transmission - a new Bosch starter came in.
