1965 Ford Mustang - $29,900 - Houston, TX -

For many more pictures of this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, please go to www.forristalls.com. This particular car is one of the earliest fastbacks that we have ever encountered. It also has more equipment on it that any other car we have ever seen. Please notice all the extra options such as the compass, the console, the tissue dispenser, light for the horse in the grill, S/S wheels, A/C, Power Steering, Rally Pac, clock, AM-FM radio, remote trunk release, rear exit GT exhaust and the GT lights.    This car has also had the carb updated to a 4 bbl carb and intake and a very nice deluxe steering wheel.  The intake is a correctly date coded intake with August of 64 on it and the carb is a correct Autolite 4100 carb.  Please also notice the redline tires with a redline spare and S/S wheel in the trunk of the car.      Obviously, there was no expense spared when this car was restored.  It is also a California car as its DSO is 71 which is Los Angeles.  The floors and body on this car are outstanding and original.  This car drives wonderfully well at 70 mph with the A/C  on and listening to the Beach Boys.  Please notice how nicely the engine compartment and the whole rest of the car are detailed.  All you need to do on this very nice fastback is drive it and have some fun with it and take it to some shows and win some trophies.
Please notice also all the 64 ½ parts on the car such as the turned down corner lip of this 64 ½ car, and the hood has the matching hood to match the bevel, the remote power steering reservoir,  the hood bumpers had a recess Phillips screw holding it to secure the rubber, the brake light switch and the hood latch matching the color of the interior. This fastback also came with the very early A stamped onto the driver’s side vent fresh air knob.  Ford was in the process of phasing out these items but was not going to throw them away.  As early 65 model cars came down the assembly line they received some of these items until Ford did not have any more of them.
In short, where can you find a car with all this equipment plus the power steering and power disc brakes  and factory air conditioning.   This is a great car with superb body and floors as you can see.
I have this car priced at a price that I think is a very fair price and a price where the car should sell very quickly.  A great number of cars that I see priced in this range do not  have all the equipment this car has nor do the others have the body and floors that this one has.  Most of these other cars into  the 40,000’s  range.  Do not hesitate on this car as it should not last very long.
