This is an absolutely magnificent 964 series Carrera 2 coupe. This car was sold originally in California and spent most of it's life there. In 2008 it moved to Naples Florida where is was maintained by the local Porsche dealer. A highly original car, this 964 has all original paint and no signs of ever having any damage.
Its car fax is clean and verify's its history. The body panels are perfect as are all of the gaps. Everything is exactly as it was when it left the factory. Its in truely amazing condition and shows that it has been extremely well cared for. Inside, this car is magnificent. It shows hardly any wear at all. The leather is still soft and supple. The headliner is close to perfect as are the carpets and original floor mats. Up front, Black carpets Porsche mats cover the original ones to keep them clean and well preserved.
Every function in this 964 works exactly as it should. Its fast, smooth, responsive and a pleasure to drive and be in. Even the air conditioning is ice cold and blows hard. The only thing that is not original is the modern Sony Stereo.
The originality and condition are only part of what is most impressive in this Carrera 2. It just had (March 26, 2014) almost $9,000 of service work completed. The service included a re-sealing of the engine as well as other necessary items. We are happy to provide a copy of the documentation to interested buyers. Upon taking delivery, we saw the from tires were in need of replacement. We just put new tires on the front. The rears are in excellent condition and have most of their life still in them. The tires are matching Sumitumo's all around. They also are the optional 17 inch wheels and tires.
