1972 Triumph TR6 - $12,900 - new york, NY - 1972 Triumph TR6, I am the third owner of this car. My brother, the second owner, bought it in 1976. I had a partial restoration done in 1999. That included an engine rebuild, significant suspension work and a beautiful down to metal body refinishing. The engine was rebuilt again in 2004 because of some faulty work done during the first rebuild. All in all, I put about $25,000 into restoration work, none done by me.
It's a beautiful car with some minor issues like a few bad snaps on the boot, a coupld of cracks in the dashboard, etc. It is in excellent mechanical condition and the body is beautiful.
It has been kept covered in a climate controlled garage (50 deg - 75 deg F) since I've owned it. I drive it about 3-4 times per month no more than about 5-10 miles at a time and only on the highway.
I'm paying $200/month to keep this car garaged and I'm ready to eliminate that expense and find a new home for this TR6.
