In 1947 the H-D company began production on a line of one cylinder two stroke, 125 c.c., 3 h.p. base model motorcycle based on a German design as part of post war reparations: the S-125. As popularity increased so did horsepower. This good original model has the 175 c.c. 5 h.p. engine, 3 speed, with the updated suspension: undercoil rear soft tail with and signature Teleglide front fork. Has the secondary jump seat and leather saddle bags. Some oxidation on the polished front fork. Speedometer/odometer showing only 1854 miles. VIN 64BT4190
