1974 FIAT 124 SPORT SPIDER 1800                                                               $11,995.00

These cars have to be one of the last affordable classic sports cars around anymore. They have outstanding looks with a lot of people thinking they look like a baby Ferrari 275 Spyder. Power is from the free revving twin overhead camshaft 1756cc engine that developed a little under a 100 horsepower. This power plant coupled to the 5-speed gearbox gave a nice sprightly performance package. When you look at the package they offer it seems only logical they will follow suit with their English Sport Car counterparts and keep escalating in value. This car has spent a lot of time in storage, has great floors and under the hood is really in great condition with no signs of any front end repair work. Mechanically the car appears very solid with good performance and no strange smoke or any other tell tale signs of near demise. The paint is has been redone, not an expensive paint job but tidy, with no hideous or obvious dents or scratches. The interior is also in very tidy condition with a nice crack free dash top and wood fascia and custom high back bolstered seats by Procar. Wheels are custom Panasport style that really suit these cars. The convertible top is in nice condition, not new but not torn up.  Finished in Bright Red with a Black interior and Convertible top.

1934 Ford - $69,900 - St. Louis, MO -

We are very pleased to offer this professionally built 1934 Ford Deluxe Sedan finished in Bright Yellow with gorgeous custom two-tone Brown leather interior! The body remains all steel with no modifications keeping its original vinyl covered roof, factory door hinges and handles, ventilated hood, factory head & taillights, and new chrome bumpers. The fenders and rear valance panel are fiberglass mated to steel running boards. The chassis was fully boxed for added strength and support, and fitted with a Flaming River rack and pinion steering system, tubular upper & lower control arms, 9” rear axle with tubular 5-link support bar system and adjustable coil-over shocks, 4-wheel power disc brakes, and more! It is all painted to match the exterior for a very sharp appearance!

Under the hood lies a GM crate 350, 4-bolt main V8 also color-coded to the body and enhanced with an Edelbrock Torker II aluminum intake, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor with electric choke, Lokar pedal and throttle linkage, Griffin 2-row aluminum radiator with built-in transmission cooler, Vintage Air a/c system with 4 interior vents, ceramic-coated headers with true dual exhaust, electric ignition, electric cooling fan, and billet aluminum valve covers & air cleaner assembly! The output of this engine is modestly rated at 260 horsepower and 350 lb. ft. of torque from GM, although this does have a few enhancements to boost these figures slightly. Putting the power to the ground is a TH200R4 4-speed overdrive automatic and 9” Ford rear end equipped with 3.00:1 gearing. The fuel tank was supplied through Tanks, Inc. measuring 16-gallons and made from a modern high density polyethylene material for a lifetime of use.

Further features and accessories include chrome IDIDIT steering column with tilt and billet arms, Dolphin gauges with gold bezels, JVC CD sound system with remote, all new tinted window glass, 15” polished chrome Coys wheels fitted with 195/60 front and 235/70 rear tires, custom billet steering wheel to match interior, billet aluminum door handles, locks, and window cranks, matching brown seatbelts and carpeted floor mats, beveled glass rearview mirror, and more! The entire vehicle was fully rewired using American Autowire featuring a completely new modern fuse panel and harnesses throughout.

The interior design of this custom really needs to be commended! With the stellar two-tone brown leather was expertly crafted to seamlessly flow throughout the entire cabin! The sweet aroma of leather when you open the door alone puts a smile on your face! The headliner is a soft, suede-like material suiting it just perfectly accessorized with an interior dome light! The custom bucket seats offer plenty of support with the adjustable seat bottom and a tilt/recline feature for the seat back. It also helps for rear seat entry and exit. The speaker grills for the audio system are also something to be marveled with the cloth screen and leather accents. It really is a very sharp, comfortably interior to be very proud of, and not often seen finished to such impeccably quality!

This is truly a sharp 1934 steel Ford that can be utilized for shows, cruises, and touring immediately! It comes equipped with all the creature comforts you need to be comfortable wherever you travel! The odometer currently reads 344 miles, but we feel this only since the new gauges were installed. For this reason, we are selling this example mileage exempt. Please feel free to call with additional questions, or to schedule a chance to see this vehicle in person! We look forward to your business!

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle - $59,900 - St. Louis, MO -

With the muscle car segment well under way, all manufacturers were offering horsepower in a variety of engine choices. For Chevrolet, the average consumer could choose from three big block increments starting with the base L35/325 horsepower, then the optional L34/350 horsepower, and finally the 4-bolt main, solid-lifter L78/375 horsepower as their largest offering! All of these optioned required the RPO 25 option- Super Sport Package. This gave standard features such as a 12-bolt rear axle, 5-spoke wheels, wheel well lip molding, drip rail moldings, special suspension, SS hood, blacked out grill & tail panel, and power disc front brakes! We are very pleased to offer this sharply restored 1969 Chevelle SS396 Convertible clone finished in Tuxedo Black with matching Black convertible top and bucket seat interior. Under the hood of this example lies a 1969 date-code correct, big block 396ci V8 engine (code JQ) mated to a Turbo-Hyrdamatic transmission and 10-bolt rear end! All while staying detailed & dressed as a factory-appointed Super Sport 396ci V8 of the period. Additional options include factory air conditioning, power front disc brakes, power steering, buckets seats with center console, Super Sport instrumentation with in-dash tachometer, F41 competition suspension, 14” SS wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires, tilt steering column, Comfort-grip steering wheel, and pushbutton AM/FM radio!

Using a solid condition, factory 1969 Chevelle Malibu Convertible, John Evans Restorations fully photo documented this build from start to finish! Having represented and sold past Evans cars, we know from experience they are built right with expert preparation of the body first. For this car, he elected to use new rear quarter panels, door skins, front fenders, new SS style hood, and trunk lid to ensure everything was of equal quality and would fit perfectly when looking at all gaps and seams. All body panels & components were treated to expert preparation that included two coats of poly primer (inside & out), multi-stage block sanded, re-primed a second time, blocked again it two increasing grits, fully sealed, then received its final top coat in a PPG base coat/ clear coat application before being color sanded and polished to a mirror-like finish! It looks absolutely amazing from all angles! The trunk was also refinished in spatter paint and fitted with a new trunk mat.

With the forward chassis prepped & painted, it was fitted with all new OEM brake lines, master cylinder, booster, & all new front brakes at the wheels; GM coolant hoses with tower clamps; detailed engine compartment with correct stickers; heavy duty clutch fan, chrome dress up components, new front end suspension components, wheels, trim rings, caps, & radial white letter tires, entire exhaust system with chrome tips, and more! With all new seating upholstery & door panels; engine , dash, and rear wiring harnesses; convertible top, all body weather stripping , new chrome bumpers, door handles, exterior mirror, wheel lip moldings, stainless trim & SS badging, it’s truly as much a stunning show car as it is a very competent driver! Included with the car are a CD of the restoration photos and receipts of all new parts ordered. With the vehicle completed in March 2014, it truly has not seen any significant road use yet this year. It will certainly impress any show-goer and driver enthusiast alike. We invite questions or calls to arrange a personal inspection of this fine automobile. We look forward to working with you!

1956 Austin-Healey BN2 - $119,500 - Newport Beach, CA -

This 1956 Austin-Healey 100/4 BN2 LeMans was built on August 23, 1955, and shipped from Longbridge, England, to the Hambro Trading Company, which managed US Austin distribution through selected dealerships. This Austin-Healey has mainly been in the care of two long-term owners. The original buyer in Minnesota kept it for 30 years before selling it to Thomas Bunch in 1987. Mr. Bunch drove the roadster for 25 years, repainted the Austin-Healey in its original Carmine Red, and changed the interior from black to tan.

The BN2 Le Mans was purchased by Austin-Healey specialists BMC Classics in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, in 2012, and the company undertook an 18-month, frame-up restoration, during which the BN2 was acquired by the consignor. The engine, carburetors, and transmission were rebuilt, along with rebuilding or replacement of the brakes, electrics, exhaust, and fuel and cooling systems. The engine compartment is beautifully detailed, with new finishes throughout. Additionally the brightwork was replated. The Healey was refinished in Carmine Red, and the as-new interior was redone in the original black color scheme, with correct carpet, new rubber, and interior panels. A new black canvas top, tonneau, new tires, and chrome wire wheels complete the high-quality restoration. The work was completed in January 2014 and the BN2 has since covered less than 300 miles and is accompanied by a British Motor Heritage Trust certificate, correct tool kit and jack. This freshly finished BN2 Le Mans is sure to impress a collector seeking a mid-century British sports car beloved on both sides of the Atlantic.

1978 Mercury Cougar XR7 - $4,650 - Jamestown, NY -

1978 Mercury Cougar XR7 2-Dr Coupe XR-7,  A true classic that helped define the highly popular personal luxury coupe segment of the time, this 1978 Mercury Cougar XR-7 was a real head-turner in its day. And it didn't hurt that Farrah Fawcett and Cheryl Tiegs helped advertise this vehicle. But alas, beauty fades and time marches on. But sometimes all that is needed is a bit of TLC to bring it back to its former self - I am of course referring to this car. Offered today is a one-owner vehicle I personally ordered in May of 1978. In those days it was common practice to order the vehicle of your choice and choose from an extensive list of options, whatever you desired. In about 4-6 weeks your beauty arrived from the factory, tailor-made. Below I have listed all the features of this vehicle. Although this car still has its original metal, vinyl, paint and interior there is some work needed. I am confident that is is not extensive. For starters, a good cleaning is necessary. The interior is just about excellent, but again a cleaning needed. There are also a handful of small spots that need to be painted. To be honest I would love if you could come to take a look for yourself. Some background info- this car has been garaged all of its life, never driven in snow and not been in an accident. After graduating from college I moved to NYC and left it in the care of my Dad who stored it in a garage. For years it has been started and moved in and out of the garage periodically, however it is time to allow someone else to bring this car back to its heyday and enjoy driving it.

Features of this 1978 Mercury Cougar XR-7

- 351W V-8 Engine  |  Automative transmission  |  Unleaded gas  |  78,000 miles

- Automatic A/C  |  Cruise Control  |  Power Seat/ Split Front Seat/Dual Armrests  |  Rear Defroster

- AM/FM/Cassette Stereo Radio

-  Bumper Group  |  Decor Group |  Light Group  |  Convenience Group

- Cross-Country Suspension  |  Styled Road Wheels (custom deco rims, no hubcaps)

- Padded Landau Roof with Opera Windows

Sorry about the pictures. I will not be able to take better ones until Easter. I did however list pics of the problem areas - there is nothing more to repair other than what you see.

I am happy to answer any additional questions. Thanks!

1989 Ferrari Mondial-t (348 engine) hardtop 5-speed manual

One of only 500 Mondial-t hardtops imported (the rest were all convertibles)

The hardtop cars were preferred in Europe because of their better structural integrity.

Excellent condition car from the west coast.

Low mileage and best color combo.

Last year before motorized seatbelts.

Freshly serviced and sorted, and no known accident damage.

Good body and paint with no rust. Nice interior.

Part of current owners well maintained collection.  This car has just been lavishly refreshed mechanically to make sure it runs perfectly.

Service items completed March 2014:

Timing belt service with improved Hill Engineering belt tensioner bearing assemblies

Upgraded water pump

New twin plate clutch assembly

Upgraded to improved Hill Engineering 355 clutch throw out bearing assembly

New ignition wires, modules, and coil packs

Fuel injection system off-car ultrasonically cleaned and flow checked

All cylinders checked to confirm correct compression

Full tune up including plugs, belts, and fluids

Driving experience:

Starts at the slightest turn of the key and runs and drives beautifully.

The engine is smooth and flexible.

There is a refined feel to the steering, brakes, ride, handling etc.

Long wheelbase and hardtop combine to make this a stable and comfortable GT ideally suited to the open road.

Windows, power sunroof, lights, gauges all work well.

The Mondial-t was the first modern Ferrari in many ways.  It was the first to include many features we now consider as standard. These included the first road car Ferrari made with the now familiar T shaped engine-transmission relationship which had been so successful in F1 racing.  The basic power-train setup was then carried over to the later 355 and 360. Other Ferrari firsts incorporated in the Mondial-t were ABS brakes, Bilstein electronically adjustable shocks, and power steering.

Automobile magazine in August of 1989 said of the Mondial-t:

“The 3.4 liter engine is a gem.” “delivers fluid, turbine-like power”.

The 5-speed gearbox “is as balky and stubborn as ever”.

The 4 wheel disc brakes “are sharp, strong, and progressive”.

The power steering is “effortless, but still precise and communicative”.

In summary “serious drivers will find it entertaining and rewarding”.

Tip – When it comes to buying a used Ferrari – get the best sorted and serviced car you can find.
